By refreshing the identity and introducing a distinctive, playful visual style, we gave the brand a personality as punchy as its products — full of flavour, energy, and unmistakable charm. Keeping the Jam Man’s cheeky charm while elevating the brand to feel more premium wasn’t without its challenges. Cartoon style and high-end design aren’t always the best bed-fellows. But by leaning into our philosophy of amplifying existing assets, we found a way to make him even bigger — twenty times bigger, in fact. With the addition of some subtly retro typography and considered detailing, we created an ultra-premium deli feel that still kept his playful spirit intact.
Our key challenge was striking the right balance in tone of voice — introducing more premium cues to appeal to a broader audience, without alienating the brand’s loyal existing customers and maintaining the cheeky charm.
