Designing the packaging for Warrendale Wagyu’s salami stick was all about capturing the indulgent quality of two exceptional products in one. The richness and depth of flavour that Wagyu beef is known for pairs perfectly with the bold, savoury character of traditional salami — resulting in a snack that’s both refined and satisfying.

Creative сhallenges
Creating an original and instantly recognisable design for Warrendale Wagyu’s salami stick was no small task. We wanted something that felt bold, ownable, and directly tied to the product’s unique story.
The solution? A striking illustration of a Wagyu cow’s head looking straight out at the customer — a confident, eye-catching presence on shelf. The cow’s ear tag cleverly doubles as the product label, containing all the essential information about the beef salami. It’s a simple idea, but getting to something that felt both distinctive and immediately clear to the customer took careful thought and refinement.
